Its not that it will break the SDK, but it will disable PacketDecoder support. However all of the headers installed with 1.4.1 are valid with 1.5. We are working to get the 1.5 SDK out and will send a message to this list when its available. - Eric On Feb 5, 2004, at 11:30 AM, Ben Ralston wrote:
So does that imply that if we install the new 1.5 stack on Panther
that it
will break the 1.4.1 SDK?

One word or warning regarding the 1.3.3 and 1.4.1 SDKs. They are only
intended to be installed on a system that already has the same version
of the Bluetooth stack. So if you are running Jaguar, you need Mac OS
X 10.2.8 plus the Bluetooth 1.3.3 software update on your system
before
installing the 1.3.3 SDK. If you are running Panther, you need either
Mac OS X 10.3.1 plus the Bluetooth 1.4.1 software update or Mac OS X
10.3.2 (which contains the Bluetooth 1.4.1 update). Future SDK builds
will enforce the system requirements, but the current ones do not, so
please double check your system before installing.
