Hi Eric, You may have an extra release here. Most objects in the Bluetooth framework are autoreleased. For example +[IOBluetoothDevice withAddress:] returns a device that is in the autorelease pool, you need to retain it to have a valid reference. Also if later on you release the device without the reatain I after +[IOBluetoothDevice withAddress:] a crash is pretty much unavoidable. ...
