I'm trying to find out if a peripheral device can talk to iOS 7 (or 6) "App" using the HID protocol under GATT on Bluetooth Smart (BLE 4.0). The device in question is NOT truly a HID device in the strict sense (it's not a keyboard, mouse, etc.) but we have traditionally wrapped our data in HID to utilize built in drivers under Win and OSX. Another question (also asked by Laura Kasso: http://lists.apple.com/archives/bluetooth-dev/2013/Aug/msg00019.html) is this: Is there a list of BT 4.0 standard profiles that iOS supports? EG Heartrate, HID, etc.? Thanks, Scott _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list. They will be ignored.
