Can someone please confirm or correct my understanding about making a connection with BT? As I understand it, for two devices to be able to connect they must both have the same Service UUID (and Service Class UUID). Say, for example, a BT keyboard. Keyboards are usually handled under the HID group, so the keyboard must advertise that it supports HID and a keyboard. Likewise, on the other side of the connection, the other device needs to also have a identical UUID so that the two devices know that they can 'talk' on the same "port". I presume there's no way around this requirement if the device that you want to connect the keyboard to does not advertise that capability...
