I have a bluetooth dongle that I want to use. When I plug it in, OS-X sometimes switches to it, but sometimes doesn't. I'd also like to be able to switch between the internal and external adapter or multiple external adapters. (I want to be able to use multiple adapters so I can use multiple directional bluetooth adapters.) Primarily I'm interested in getting RSSI signal levels for proximity detection. Ideally it would be nice if the OS-X bluetooth API supported multiple Bluetooth adapters simultaneously, but according to what I've read in the archives it doesn't.
