Turns out the cel. uses BIP (Basic Imaging Profile), not BPP or HCRP. However, for it to work, the computer's Major class must be set to 'Imaging' I've been doing this with Bluetooth Explorer utility, but I'd rather have my app do it, and then revert (to Computer/Desktop) when it terminates. There was a post last year (Jan 11,2006 - BluetoothHCIWriteClassOfDevice) asking how to change the local class of device/service, but I could see no response. My net searches have also come up empty. Obviously there exists a way to do this programmatically. Will anyone share the secret? thanks, Aaron ____________________________________________________________________________________ Sick sense of humor? Visit Yahoo!
