The same behaviour can be seen on my colleagues PowerBook. The PDA- Sync-Service cannot be disabled. Nor can its name be changed or any other attribute. If I click on enable/disable, PacketLogger does not show any activity. For the other services that I can enable/disable in the SystemPreferences, I can see communication happening in PacketLogger. On my MacBook, I can see that the Bluetooth-PDA-Sync service is always listed as an available service. Even if I turn it off in the System preferences it can still be seen from the outside although a connection to it times out with no connection beeing finally established. In Packet logger I can see the connection request until some message "SABM for channel 3' from the remote side which is not answered (a normal service would answer with "UA for channel 3"). Does anybody know how I can turn that record off or how I can delete this leftover SDP entry ? Moritz _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list.
