I'm creating an iPad app, running on an iPad Mini 1, that will sit in a electronics factory to test Bluetooth hardware. It will be connecting with upwards of 2000 devices over a number of weeks. The iPad will only connect to one device at a time, but will bond when it connects. Does the tester need to clear the Bluetooth bonding information from Settings if the iPad is going to connect to such a large number? If they do need to clear the list, how often should they do this? Any pointers would be appreciated. Cheers Niall _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list. They will be ignored. This email sent to site_archiver@lists.apple.com I just did this at a factory not so long ago, and the iPad they were using did stop working after a while. My suspicion was because it was paired to too many devices (seemed to give out around 200 devices). I would definitely recommend clearing the list every 50-100 pairings or so, although I have no official info on the subject, just a suspicion.
