In one of the e-mails I have read you said: In the same mail you said too: [...]"The good news is that we hope to change this in Leopard"[...] Now we are on Leopard, there are another way to develop it? Thanks for the attention. Best regards Pepe. pd: this is an important proyect for my thesis This is the link to the refered email: http://lists.apple.com/archives/bluetooth-dev/2006/Aug/msg00001.html _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list. Bluetooth-dev mailing list (Bluetooth-dev@lists.apple.com) Help/Unsubscribe/Update your Subscription: http://lists.apple.com/mailman/options/bluetooth-dev/site_archiver%40lists.a... Ok, now i'm trying to develop a HandsFree Profile for Mac OS, I read a few e-mails in bluetooth-dev-list, and now I am very confused. [...] - Vend the Headset SDP service, which you may already have done - Write an IOAudioFamily driver that matches on the incoming RFCOMM "Service Level" connection from the AudioGateway device (phone) - Your driver would need to catch the incoming SCO connection, capture the data, format it, and route it into the audio system - You may also need an agent application as well to change the System Sound input/output to the newly loaded driver so the audio data can be heard/sent when the device connects." [...] (from Hands Free Profile Implementation on Aug 9, 2006 Ok, then. I don't care if it I must make all of this things by my self, but is this the only way to develop a HFP? and why I must query the HeadSet SDP service?, if I want use my Mac like a car hands free I might query Hands Free SDP sevice (0x111E), isn't it?. Another question is: How can I attach my own Audio Device (Audio Device ID) with all the necessary properties stablished to an IOBluetoothRFCOMMAudioControler object?. I think this is the more simply way, but maybe I might be wrong and this would be not possible. In the other hand, I have all the AT+COMMANDS and services developed and running good. And obviously the SCO link is the most important goal in the project. This email sent to site_archiver@lists.apple.com
