This email sent to site_archiver@lists.apple.com I like using the Broadcom WICED BCM2073X - has a pretty easy API and the IDE is free! They have their own dev boards you can get on Avnet, or, my company, DrumPants, offers an open-source dev board which is basically an Arduino Due with a BLE module built in. And it's cheaper than the Avnet one: I am wondering if anyone can suggest a good Bluetooth low energy data module, that has a good development kit and sample IOS apps. I am building a audio preamplifier and I need a good remote control. I found a couple and after reading what they have.... Well lets just say I am sure some of you have already been through the ringer so maybe you have some good suggestions. One thing, I need one with a UFL connector instead of the PCB or Ceramic antenna as the unit is all metal and the antenna will be off the back. https://lists.apple.com/mailman/options/bluetooth-dev/tyler%40drumpants.com
