Rick, If the problem persists and waiting for the real hardware or a sniffer is not an option: is it possible for you to share a minified version of your peripheral and central code with us? Because you mentioned that a connection with an app from the app store worked fine: make sure to terminate backgrounded low energy apps before connecting with your app. Also had some wrong service discovery when connecting with a new app to a peripheral recently. Another tip is restarting bluetooth in the settings - sometimes the whole bluetooth stack becomes unresponsive - however this affected all apps in my case. Last resolution is reboot of the iphone. And finally, to clear the uuid cache a reset of all settings to factory defaults is required. Note that these are all just general tips - not specifically targeted at your error message. I have a simple peripheral app and simple central app. The central can see the peripheral, and the advertised service and name, and it issues the -connectPeripheral:… message, but it never connects. After several minutes, it calls me back with a 1309 Unknown Error.
Any ideas what I'm missing?
Thanks,
