Re: Testing Bluetooth client apps
I depends on what the client application is: For phone applications, you will need a Bluetooth capable phone and perhaps a cellular account. (Dial-up, OBEX, etc.) For computer to computer communication, including perhaps development of a protocol which will one day become part of an embedded device you can use 2 Macs each with a Bluetooth dongle (like the D-Link). Palm also has a public Bluetooth API: http://www.palmos.com/dev/tech/bluetooth/ With this, your second device could be a Palm with either built-in Bluetooth (Tungsten) or an add-on card (Sony Clie + Japanese Memory Stick, or 505 + SDIO card) -larson On Tuesday, January 21, 2003, at 11:05 AM, Robert Grant wrote: Has anyone got tips on what a basic testing environment might be for bluetooth clients?
