Re: Does iPhone with iOS5 ring when connected to a Bluetooth headset?
site_archiver@lists.apple.com Delivered-To: bluetooth-dev@lists.apple.com Phone Amego supports the Bluetooth HFP which uses SCO to carry a monaural audio channel. It does not normally use A2DP as far as I know. Is there any way to control this from the iPhone or Bluetooth preferences pane on the Mac? Thanks! - Peter On Nov 18, 2011, at 9:59 AM, Ross Barkman wrote:
It doesn't, if you use the A2DP profile - the headset takes all the audio output. If you switch off A2DP, the phone rings as normal. At least, that’s the case with my iPhone 4 and Jawbone Icon.
