Leopard oddity in naming device types
site_archiver@lists.apple.com Delivered-To: bluetooth-dev@lists.apple.com Thread-index: Acd1IwpFSRRlzeEWEduTkwARJHK4jA== Thread-topic: Leopard oddity in naming device types User-agent: Microsoft-Entourage/11.3.3.061214 Playing with 9A377a, using the BT Setup Assistant, I find another strange thing: When looking for "Any device", it lists the two other Macs like this: MyIntelMac Type: Desktop MyG5Mac Type: Macintosh Desktop Why the different types? Doing an Option-click on "Continue" shows that both devices get identified as "Computer", only that the G5 also lists the obscure BT Audio Gateway services as mentioned in my previous post. Is that something I should report as a bug? Or does it actually have a purpose? Thomas _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list. They will be ignored.
