I have a Bluetooth device in my favorites list that is not paired with my Mac. I can fetch its IOBluetoothDevice object easily enough using the IOBluetoothDeviceSelectorController class, but then how do I pair with the unpaired device? And of course, the answer was obvious: Use the IOBluetoothDevice -requestAuthentication method. I was looking for a method with the word "pair" in it when I was searching through the headers...
