This email sent to site_archiver@lists.apple.com we devlop a bluetooth accessory (MFi) and are facing a problem. When 30-pin dock / lightning accessories are conntected to the iPhone, they immediately show up as connected devices in the EA Framework. But Bluetooth devices don´t. They first show up when they are (1) coupled and (2) connected via Settings->Bluetooth. Coupling is only needed once, thats fine. But at the moment, we have to connect the bluetooth device manally every time we switch it on. We are looking for a way that the bluetooth accessory and the iOS device auto-connect, so that the accessory is visible via the EA framework immediately without further user interactions. 1.) Are we doing something wrong? Should the accessory and the device already be auto-connecting after being coupled once?
