Hi David, Those parameters are set by iOS and can not be changed by the app. Please note that the parameters dynamically change depending on if the app is in the foreground or background and for long the user has been waiting. The numbers you mentioned sounds a bit too high for the case when both apps are in the foreground and the screen is on. What were the conditions when you measured these numbers? Given the current advertising frequency of an iOS6 peripheral and the scanning settings of an iOS6 central this can take usually ~5 and up to 10 seconds after I begin advertising on the peripheral with a scanning central in range. Is it now, or will it in future be, possible to adjust the scanning parameters or the advertising parameters, using CoreBluetooth on iOS6? It would be very useful to alter the scanning frequency and advertising frequency if the app knows a connection is likely.
