Running into an issue passing "large" amounts of data through a characteristic. Our iPhone is running in Peripheral mode and we have a device in Central doing a read request.

We're trying to pass a NSData set of 256 bytes (maybe more and maybe less) through a read characteristic. We don't seem to be hitting any type of an end of file on this data. Should we calculate and advertise the size of this data through another characteristic before doing the read request?

Can't find any evidence in the headers of CBPeripheralManagerDelegate or Google. It's been a very long day so I'm hoping that I'm just overlooking something here.
