Re: bt sdk 1.4.1 - how to uninstall?
Hi Bob, Can you send us a picture of the kernel panic? To uninstall, I'd remove the 1.4.1 kexts from the /System/Library/Extensions folder (IOBluetoothFamily.kext and IOBluetoothHIDDriver.kext), and be SURE to throw out the Extensions.mkext and Extensions.kextcache, then reinstall. Sorry about the problems, that was not our intention, of course. ;-) Jason bubba@apple.com
hi,
so after a post yesterday that there was a new version of the bt sdk,
i ran right out and got it:
ftp://ftp.apple.com/developer/Development_Kits/
Bluetooth_SDK_1.4.1.dmg.bin
but, much to my dismay, connecting my apple bt mouse now panics the
system!
what's the recommended way to completely uninstall that package? i tried
installing the prior sdk over the top, hopefully to revert elements,
but it's still crashing.
thanks!
bob
