site_archiver@lists.apple.com Delivered-To: bluetooth-dev@lists.apple.com User-agent: Microsoft-Entourage/11.0.0.040405 Michelle, I don't know about the "atinav SDK", but I suspect it won't work on Mac OSX. But, knowing nothing about it, I have no idea. We provide both OBEX and RFCOMM Obj-C samples in our SDK, that should be a good jumping off point for you. And since java was designed with a tip of the hat to Obj-C, I would think the learning curve shouldn't be too terrible. Good luck, bubba
Hi everyone,
Just after a bit of advice regarding bluetooth stacks. I am planning my final year bluetooth based project and have noticed that the built in stack for os x seems to like the C variant languages. Coming from a java background is it viable for me to attempt to learn and use Objective C to write my app (as I've read it is similar to java), or should I just use another stack (e.g the popular atinav SDK).
Any thoughts would be much appreciated,
Michelle
