Normally, I find it easier to write read-only, lazy instantiating, properties for the Persistent Store Coordinator, MOM and MOC, in the Controller., Then it is easy to bind any objects in the NIB, that require the MOC. Yes, I agree. My File's Owner is a NSPersistentDocument subclass. The nib has an object controller and an array controller both of which are bound to the File's Owner managedObjectContext. It would be unusual to have a MOC directly connected to a View. They are normally connected to array or object controllers in the controller. The nib contains a custom view with custom programmatic bindings. The bindings need a reference to the moc. This email sent to site_archiver@lists.apple.com
