I used "Edit->Refactor->Convert to Objective-C ARC...". My app works fine but I'm getting a syntax error in Apple's header files. They're all in the same place: @private. There error is '__strong' only applies to objective-c object or block pointer types; type here is 'void *' Here's an example: /* Quartz Composer Composition Renderer */ @interface QCRenderer : NSObject <QCCompositionRenderer> { @private __strong void* _QCRendererPrivate; } I'm thinking I should remove the __strong from these but I'm wondering why __strong was added here anyway and I'm wary about touching Apple's code. I'm at a loss.
