I've got one project (which works) which has two 57x57xmillions-of-colors png's using a simple black-and-white coloration. I have another project which also has two 57x57xmillions-of-colors png's (converted from windows .bmp files using GraphiConverter 6.5) that also have a simple black-and-white coloration. But when the UITabBar displays these, they just show up as blue squares with the 'glassy' look.
