On the other hand I use 15" MBP 2009 model with SSD and 8GB RAM besides my 2011 13.3 MBAir SSD and would not use anything that has not using SSD. With SSD even 4-5 years old laptop (any core 2 duo) is a rocket. Every laptop I have (5) has SSD in it. You can even drop it and it still works. Derek
