In the latest version of i1Profiler you can load ProfileMaker references directly into the new "Measure Reference Chart" workflow. This should, in most cases, pick up device, patch size layout etc. As Andrew notes however this is primarily so that you can measure charts that have already been imaged - such as those from a generic press form. Generating a new patch set directly from within i1Profiler will almost always result in a profile of better quality.
