I'm unfamiliar with the utility, but the standard solution to your problems is to build and use an ICC color profile for the combination of printer, paper, ink, and possibly viewing conditions in question. Cheers, b& On Jan 25, 2014, at 6:30 PM, Randy Zaucha <zbet66@yahoo.com> wrote:
Anyone have any experience using the Epson ColorBase utility? The fun part of this mission is that we will be attempting to improve an Epson 9880 color range for dye sublimation. Currently the image on the sublimation paper is too dark and the RGB driver selections are limited. We are using a Studioprint Rip but there are no calibration offerings in the Rip a we are using an RGB driver. My hope is that the utility will enable us to get a full range of gamut and tone.
