Basically the spectrometer needs to be re-calibrated against the new white ref tile (→ store reference data of new white ref tile in instrument's eeprom).

Can one write a script to mod the spectral data to take this into account?

If you got reference data for the new tile, then you could basically calculate a correction factor for each wavelength and adjust the readings accordingly. Gerhard
