I've used Babelcolor for that purpose. Works perfect. And you can learn a lot about how flashes behave on different energy levels. Cheaper flashes changes both color temperature and their spectral distribution. Best Stefan 12 mar 2014 kl. 16:01 skrev dpascale:
Hello Mathew,
There are also two third party app that can do the job (BabelColor CT&A, from me, and Spectrashop):
Here is a screenshot showing a flash measurement from BabelColor CT&A's Graph tool: http://www.babelcolor.com/main_level/screen_shots/CT&A_Graph.htm

Thanks My Eye-One Share will indeed measure the flash but I cannot get it to export. It stopped being supported at OSX10.4. I guess its time to move on to Argyll and learn to enjoy command line computing.
Don’t you just love reversing away from the job in hand, I’ll just go make a cup of tea - starting with inventing fire and agriculture.

Hi thanks, unfortunately there is no data for flash. I could try measuring it directly but I suspect it might upset (i.e. fry) the i1 even if it copes with the pulse of light.
It's perfectly possible to measure flash with an i1pro or ColorMunki. ArgyllCMS spotread will let you do this for instance.
Graeme Gill.
The excellent free Eye-One Share software also has a flash SPD function.
