Two laptops Two colorpicker results

Thanks to all who responded. I am a bit embarrassed to say I was confused about the color picker and thought that the Adobe Color Settings dictated the numbers displayed. You were all correct that the file's profile identity controlled the numbers in the picker. I was occasionally using a Prophoto embedded color chart so this caused my confusion as I usually am in Adobe RGB. It also did not help using a Mac based application  and Photoshop on the PC.Living and Learning as Always,Randy Z
