Hi Guiseppe,The built-in calibration process of the HP Indigos are open for fine-tuning and profiling with third party software. The calibration/linerization of ink jet devices require close integration with the driver. And once linearization and profiling is done with the custom solution, these two are combined into a single proprietary file that manages the output side.Same kind of integration is valid for dry toner devices. With frequent recalibrations you can keep the output within acceptable limits.Best,Refik TelhanLight and Color Management Consultancy -------- Orijinal mesaj --------Kimden: Giuseppe Andretta via colorsync-users <colorsync-users@lists.apple.com> Tarih: 1.04.2022 12:47 (GMT+03:00) Alıcı: Lista Colorsync Colorsync <colorsync-users@lists.apple.com> Konu: Profiling Label printers and others Hello everyone,I am asking to all the color specialists suggestions on how to approach the calibration and profiling of a series of printers on which I do not have so much experience.I am also a color consultant but in the last years I was ask to profile only large format printers, mainly Durst, Mimaki and Fuji and fineart plotter. I use a Barbieri LFP spectrophotometer and usually make the profile through the RIP (most of the time Caldera) or with Xrite i1 software. In few weeks I will be in charge of profiling a lot of other printers, in particular some HP indigo with HP Production Pro software, Agfa Tauro with Asanti RIP and Canon Pro Stream with SRA controller with Adobe APPE. Some of them are printer for labels and packaging.Anyone on the list have some suggestions or want to share his experience with the above mentioned printers ? Thank you in advance.Giuseppe Andretta _______________________________________________Do not post admin requests to the list.
