Hey, Armand! I use that model NEC and I like it a lot. I've never worked on an Eizo but you can definitely get to where you want to go with this display. NEC seems to have better tech support than the worthless schlubs at LaCie, which was my previous favorite display. It switches between colorimetric environments like a champ, whereas my LaCie 526 stumbled over some weird technical problem that LaCie refused to acknowledge. I've been using their SpectraView II software which unfortunately costs extra but does a great job. SpectraView II has a lot of bells and whistles that are specific to this screen, though I'm starting to use Argyll with dispCAL and I've been having good luck with that, too. Skip the hood. It looks like garbage. Like a Michael Bay-era Transformer bad. Buy some nice black foam core and black velvet contact material and make your own. You'll be much happier, and it'll be a fifth of the cost! Bruce Jamieson
