Re: Monitor/display suggestions?

Oh boy… I didn’t think a monitor recommendation request would stir up such a hornet’s nest. Is there no simple answer? Back in the day, it was fairly simple for someone editing and soft proofing photos to simply go to an NEC Multisync PA302W and before that, Karl Lang's Sony Artisan. I’m not a color scientist and I’m not developing color ways for any commercial products… I just want to get a monitor that’s as close as *practically* possible for someone with a Mac and Epson Stylus Pro 24” printer for “most” people.
