Air in inkt tubes

I have air pockets in the ink tubes that lead from the tanks to the two printer heads of my Canon IPF6400 printer. As Canon support in The Netherlands is a nightmare, and no decent info is to be found on the net or youTube for this printer, I hope someone on the list knows how to tackle this problem. Thanks, Beat
