Just to clear up some potential confusion, by “i1” do we mean i1Pro, i1Pro2, i1 Display, what? These are all very different instruments. Terry

That said, I think the suggestion of starting over is a good one. It's not clear from what Russell has told us if his friend is using the i1 puck (I'm guessing that the i1 comes with some sort of puck to read the screen while calibrating) but it sounds to me like maybe he didn't use the puck???
