Trim messages in Colorsync-users lists?

I am just a reader not much of a contributor on this list. It's great for information here... but... Could we not trim the messages then just hit the reply and send all the previous old messages!? It gets very hard to read when you have to scroll over old messages to find the new content! Also it save space and time and easier to find information when searching! Reflections from a reader...
