Good night My first impression about optmization is that is not a optmization. When I optmize a profile and try to compare the first profile (not optimized) and the second profile (optmized) I see that we have different number of pacthes and it is not possible to compare. I see that we have in the second profile the number of patches like first profile + number of patches for optimization. My question is if i1 Profiler really optmizes first profile or it only add new patches in the first profile. Thank you Take care Marcelo Copetti Em 14/06/2011, às 15:40, Terence Wyse escreveu:

Were you using large color tables or medium? I was using16bit/large and optim. was throwing me an error and failing. May be an OS X 10.6 thing. I can file a bug report with xrite.

It doesn't allow optimization on 16bit/High Quality profiles.
Hmmm.....not sure if that's right...I've optimized a few profiles and I know that I always use 16bit "Optimize Quality" settings. Were these RGB or CMYK profiles? (I'm using CMYK profiles).
