Matt, With 100% GCR setting, max K width (K start 30) I got only 42 32 37 5. If you start the black at 20% the 50 K will give more K (14%). With "Full Black Separation" and a K start of 30 I get 4 3 7 45; however, one would need to evaluate separations on press as this is very extreme GCR, and issues such as loss of gloss or instability might result. If anyone has made an i1profiler profile with aggressive GCR using a standard sheetfed specification such as Gracol or Fogra39, would you be kind enough to share the result of the 50%K conversion when using the same profile as source and destination via absolute colorimetric.
I am accustomed with Monaco to be able to get a resulting value set of C23 M16 Y17 K31. If Xrite had a fully functioning demo I would not be asking for your help (wink, nudge Mr. Xrite).
