Hello everyone, I am asking to all the color specialists suggestions on how to approach the calibration and profiling of a series of printers on which I do not have so much experience. I am also a color consultant but in the last years I was ask to profile only large format printers, mainly Durst, Mimaki and Fuji and fineart plotter. I use a Barbieri LFP spectrophotometer and usually make the profile through the RIP (most of the time Caldera) or with Xrite i1 software. In few weeks I will be in charge of profiling a lot of other printers, in particular some HP indigo with HP Production Pro software, Agfa Tauro with Asanti RIP and Canon Pro Stream with SRA controller with Adobe APPE. Some of them are printer for labels and packaging. Anyone on the list have some suggestions or want to share his experience with the above mentioned printers ? Thank you in advance. Giuseppe Andretta
