Hey folks, Does anyone know the reason why X-Rite is using different tolerances in the i1Profiler Printer QA? The max avg dE is 5 and the primary hue dE is 1.5 when verify using the X-Rite SWOP or GRACoL data sets. Competiing proof verification products use max avg dE of 6 and primary hue dE of 2.5. I believe max avg dE 6 and primary hue dE of 2.5 is the official published values of ISO 12647-7:2007. Maybe X-Rite is using proposed or draft tolerances? Can’t edit the tolerances in the X-Rite’s i1Profiler .ini file. -- Dan Reid RPimaging, INC Color Communication Experts http://www.rpimaging.com
