Mac OSX upgrade?

I am currently running Mac OS X 10.6.8 on my computers that are involved in photography and printing. I'm wondering if it is time to upgrade. With 10.9 Mavericks just released, have any serious professionals upgraded? What are the outstanding color management or other relevant issues, if any? Could some of you pros weigh in and give us less knowledgeable users an overview of the issues and problems? It sure would be a help.
