Thanks, Ben. I'm trying to do this in a way that does not involve any end-user interaction to set the profile. I know it is quite easy for the user to go into the Display Preference and select the profile but you would be surprised how many will not do this, for whatever reason. :) It's progress, though. Once it's set that first time and the profile name stays the same, there's no more end-user effort required. P On Jun 1, 2014, at 12:23 PM, Ben Goren <ben@trumpetpower.com> wrote:

We would like to change our process so technical staff can do these calibrations in the evening without the end-user logged in. However, getting the profile set correctly when the end-user logs in in the morning seems problematic.
You should be able to save the profile at the root-level /Library/Profiles, have the users select that after the first time, and then revise / replace that one single profile on subsequent recalibrations. So long as the filename stays the same, it should all "just work."
For example, staff would create a display profile and save / copy / move it here:
/Library/Profiles/Imago Standard Display Profile.icc
So long as the users have that set as their display profile, staff can update that file as desired.
