Hello, everyone. I have a few questions about color technology as I am a new to this topic. 1. What is the difference between a color appearance model and a color space ? For instance, which of this two is Lab ? What about RGB ? What about CMYK ? What about the Munsell system ? 2. Is there software (preferably for the Mac) I can use to plot the color space covered by a color guide ? I wish to compare two color guides by plotting each specimen from these color guides onto a chart to evaluate the gamut or color space covered by each (each of the color guides, that is).
