Please excuse my ignorance, guys, but does that mean that the i1pro3 supports a different "instructions set" than the 2? / Roger -----Original Message----- From: colorsync-users <colorsync-users-bounces+graxx=videotron.ca@lists.apple.com> On Behalf Of Graeme Gill via colorsync-users Sent: Monday, October 14, 2019 1:01 AM To: colorsync-users@lists.apple.com >> ColorSync <ColorSync-Users@lists.apple.com> Cc: Graeme Gill <graeme2@argyllcms.com> Subject: Re: Xrite i1Pro3+ review Scott Martin wrote:
Hey Graeme! While the large aperture has advantages, it does mean that it can't read smaller patches intended for a small aperture device like the i1Pro2. So, there's no compatibility mode.
Hi, sorry, I don't understand what the aperture has to do with it. As you know, the i1pro2 has an i1pro1 fallback compatibility mode, so it would seem a reasonable possibility that the i1pro3+ has an i1pro2 fallback mode. The change in aperture would only seem to be relevant in printing test charts. Cheers, Graeme Gill. _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list.
