Excellent exercise…..good question. Well, I don’t have anything to agree with in displays. I use a pair of MacBook Pro 8,3, 17 inch non-glare displays. One has the NEC PA271w connected. SpectraView II is the software I use with the version D i1pro hardware. This is my gold standard. For the 17 inch non-glare display, which as you all know, is not valid for any work, I use the i1 Profiler with the same hardware. Of course they will never ever agree!. The other workstation I use the same hardware, except version A, for the MacBook Pro 8,3 display, with i1 Profiler. The second monitor is “cheap”. Only for real-estate. It also gets profiled…same hardware and software. What’s the point? Glad you asked. I don’t know. Just chiming in on what I use. There would be no point in the two MacBook Pro’s agreeing since they are not valid for anything. They just might agree. Cheers David B Miller, Pharm. I'd like to take a survey to find out what tools, if any, those of you with multiple workstations use to validate that your monitors are in agreement with each other.
1. Do you simply calibrate all your monitors with the same software? 2. Do you use any tools that verify compliance with any standards (if so, which ones)? 3. Do you use any tools to correct a monitor's calibration to match a master monitor?
Just curious. Thanks!
