As an additional note, I use Studio Print as my stand alone RIP. When you set up a print environment - resolution, ink position, screening algorithm, dot size, etc. - one of the settings is for margins. It doesn't matter whether you are selecting Roll or Sheet, it wants margins set to something. I learned many years ago the Epson likes those margins as previously stated. So, I set it and forget it. No headaches. This has been my experience. And it is refreshing sometimes to simply make an RGB profile rather than CMYK with GCR, black curves, linearizing, ink threshold, ink limiting... it can be much quicker and sometimes produce better results.
