That DIN099c color space looks weird to me. It's still an a/b diagram, though. When I consider MacAdam idea of weighting, DIN99 looks like it preserves some other sort of distance over perceptual distance? But I'm no cartographer any more so than I am a color scientist. I would appreciate hearing any ideas about why this plot is shaped as such. Pls appreciate the beauty of Dell's gamut coverage compared to popular spaces.
