Does the P5000 fix this problem that the 4900 had/has? ________________________________ Steven Kornreich steve@kuau.com http://www.kuau.com From: Andrew Rodney Sent: Sunday, March 4, 2018 1:32 PM To: 'colorsync-users?lists.apple.com' List Subject: Re: Canon imagePROGRAF PRO-1000 On Mar 4, 2018, at 1:18 PM, Rich Wagner <Rich@WildNaturePhotos.com <mailto:Rich@WildNaturePhotos.com>> wrote:

Me too. IF I didn't print with the unit nearly every day, it would clog. But if I did print nearly everyday, it was pretty good but not like my 3880 or P800 which rarely if ever clogs even if left unused for months. So I setup an AppleScript through Calendar to automatically print a tiny image, postage stamp size on the roll and that helped tremendously. There's also a Mac utility called InkJet Plumber that will do this for you: https://github.com/jt70471/InkjetPlumber/releases <https://github.com/jt70471/InkjetPlumber/releases> Andrew Rodney http://www.digitaldog.net/ <http://www.digitaldog.net/> _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list.
