I was under the impression that SSDs fail by the individual cells slowly becoming read-only, thus making failure more a matter of inconvenience with lots of warning. If that's not the case…well, I don't rely (solely) on any SSDs for data I care about long-term, but it'd still be nice to know…. Cheers, b&
