Pantone colors match
Hi everyone, I am looking for a software that will let me see how many Pantone colors or how many percent of Pantone Library I can match from my printer ICC profile used as a destination profile. Derek Lambert
do you mean how many pantone colors fall within your destination gamut? or, something else?

"Anything else that is not terminal based?" Well, for purely a visual gauge of inside/outside gamut, one could use ColorThink Pro. On Tue, Jan 26, 2016 at 1:12 PM, Derek <csync@colorforest.net> wrote:

where did you get the pantone coordinates? does argyle except these batch, or did you check individual colors?

"where did you get the pantone coordinates? " That's the trick. My testing was done for an IPA Roundup event (remember the IPA?), so the Pantone list was provided to me. "does argyle except these batch, or did you check individual colors?" Both. Not a visual analysis, but delta value were derived. On Tue, Jan 26, 2016 at 1:14 PM, edward taffel <etaffel@me.com> wrote:

Derek, I have written an app note on the subject a few years ago. http://www.babelcolor.com/index_htm_files/AN-6%20Evaluating%20an%20ICC%20pro... Since the app note was written, PatchTool (note: my company software) will now open CxF3 files, a format in which Pantone data can also be found. If the link does not work, look for AN-6 on the Tutorials page of the BabelColor Web site. Hi everyone,
I am looking for a software that will let me see how many Pantone colors or how many percent of Pantone Library I can match from my printer ICC profile used as a destination profile.
