Re: Convert to printer profile workflow question
It's been suggested by the IT folks that the print with profile problem using Big Sur is not present when printing from inDesign nor Acrobat. Would printing using a color managed workflow from Acrobat indeed be a workaround? Is there any reason a broken CM system would only affect PS and LrC and not other Adobe apps? (call me skeptical ...) R :-)
I'm skeptical too... but I almost never print from those two apps. I print primarily from Lightroom Classic. I posted a reply a couple days ago that I don't think ever made it through because of email issues on my end. I followed Andrew's advice to upgrade to 12.2. I'm always apprehensive about upgrades to an OS that new but the current situation is not sustainable and rolling back is not an option. I've had zero issues so far (about 48 hours and many prints in) with the upgrade to 12.2. It's so nice to be printing predictably again. I print primarily from an M1 MacBook Air to an Epson P9570. Thanks to those who started and contributed to this thread!
